An international phenomenon that started in New York, next month鈥檚 Raising the Bar event is the first for UC and the South Island. The aim is to make knowledge accessible and spark conversations between academics and the public.
Each venue will hold two different sessions: one from 6pm until 7pm, and the second from 7.30pm until 8.30pm. There will be a 15-minute question-and-answer session after each talk. Participating venues are: Craft Embassy, 12 Bar, Cascade Bar, Eruption Brewing, Blue Smoke, Two Thumb, Dux Central, Botanic, The Laboratory, and Pegasus Arms. Doors will open from 5.30pm.
