The Postgraduate Certificate in Engineering caters for professional engineers seeking advanced technical training or students looking for a one-year advanced qualification.
The Certificate can be awarded unendorsed, or endorsed in one of the following disciplines:
Subject to meeting degree requirements, graduates can also transfer to a Master of Engineering.
You will normally need to have a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours or Bachelor of Science with Honours degree in relevant subjects, or in exceptional cases have qualified for the award of another appropriate qualification.
If English is your additional language, you are also required to meet UC's English language requirements.

The PGCertEng is made up of a combination of 400 and 600-level courses, with specific combinations to meet the requirements of the endorsements.
The Certificate can be completed in 6 months full-time. It can also be studied for up to 4 years part-time.

The Certificate may be unendorsed, or endorsement in one of the subject options below:
The endorsement option includes at least 45 points of subject courses, with a maximum of 15 points from an approved list of electives.
The unendorsed option includes at least 30 points chosen from an approved list of electives, and a maximum of 30 points chosen from a secondary list of electives.
